Simple Homemade Honey Mustard Vinaigrette

In-The-Kitchen

Just stopping in really quick to share my new favorite salad dressing recipe.

In an attempt to eat more salads, I’m trying to find ways to change things up a bit, so I threw together this dressing and now I’m addicted.

Honey Mustard Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup honey (preferably raw & local)
  • 1/3 cup Dijon Mustard
  • 1/3 cup Hellman’s Mayo
  • 1/3 cup Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar (or lemon juice or white wine vinegar)
  • Sea salt
  • Pepper

Yields 1.5 cups

Directions
Stir together honey (I actually use a little more than 1/3 cup because I like it kind of sweet), mustard and mayo. Whisk in olive oil and vinegar. Add sea salt and pepper to taste.

I used this dressing today on a salad with Boar’s Head Blazin Buffalo Chicken lunchmeat, provolone cheese, artichoke hearts and sund ried tomatoes in an italian mix salad.

It would also be awesome as a marinade for chicken or even as a dip!

Let me know how you use it and any alterations you make!
